MacGregor Multimedia Marketing

Established for Multimedia Marketing Demonstration

Goals

This is a multimedia content marketing plan for Sune’s IGA Market focusing on target market perceptions through the use of various media. The goal is to enhance perceptions of Sune’s overall business, its employees, and owners. Additionally, Sune’s needs to drive more local traffic to their Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts. Their website is still in production. A measurement for achievement will be a 5% increase in social media metrics and a 2% increase in store traffic.

Content to Goal Relationships

Social Media Posts

Already active on Facebook and Twitter, Sune’s would find a series of posts highlighting their ability to serve the community with special orders, online, phone and email ordering fulfillment.  Ongoing tweeted pictures of the owners and employees going about their duties and featured specials of the week would keep Sune’s more in the forefront of the target segment’s minds.

Infographics

Three different infographics on different themes will convey more complex information in easy-to-understand graphics. The suggested subjects relate to the business goals. The first topic is a comparison in time and money between shopping at Sune’s versus shopping in one of the big box stores. This shows how Sune’s provides value to the target market segments. A second infographic would illustrate diverse ways and timelines for ordering special items through Sune’s, which shows a level of personal service. The subject of the third infographic is a statistics list of the number of local grocery stores which have closed, leaving food deserts in their neighborhoods. This is a direct hit to the target audiences pointing out the problems created by the loss of one grocery store.

Photo Project

Sune and Hilka Heinonen Bucht celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary with family
and friends by opening their new Drummond Island MI grocery store. Circa 1965

Pictures of happy employees helping satisfied customers will promote a positive view. Pictures of the owners being part of the community would foster a sense of belonging. Glimpses of the inside of the store would appeal to newcomers, while several photos of the founders and subsequent owners will remind Islanders that Sune’s has valued their business for many years.

Video Project

The video will drive home the point that Sune’s means personalized service with small-town attention by local people. It will show that visitors and Islanders alike can depend on Sune’s to meet as much of their needs as is possible, conveniently, despite being in such a remote place.
